All these skills will help ensure that participants will become equal contributors to society, as well as superb team players in the workforce.
Our trainees learn a variety of tasks, such as how to:
Participants learn to run the cash register, count change, run a credit/debit card, bag items and apply customer service skills.
Participants learn the art of staging items for resale.
Participants receive donations to sort and organize to go into the thrift store for sale. Inventory is also part of the process. These skills make our participants more marketable to local businesses.
Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and taking out trash are all necessary parts of facility maintenance and daily life skills.
In this program, participants take donations that may normally be discarded and either recycle them or repurpose them into new sellable items. In this program, clients can develop skills to create items they can use to sell in the store or on Etsy or other platforms.
A wide variety of training, social and educational offerings are designed for participants to eventually gain meaningful employment in the community. Participation programs are flexible and tailored to the needs of each individual. Self pay programs begin at $30 for each half day and $60 for full day program.
